William (Bill) Edenton

William "Bill" Edenton 80 of Stollings passed away Wednesday February 3, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. He was born May 8, 1928 at Monaville. He was the son of the late Joe and Loucille Mayo Edenton. He was also preceded in death by one sister Elma Steele. Bill was the owner of Regina Pools and retired from Joy Manufacturing. He is survived by his life partner of 21 years Kim Lanthorne, one daughter Regina (Mike) Jones of Westly Chapel, Florida, two grandchildren Justin (Jennie) Jones and Bridgett Jones of Westly Chapel, Florida. One sister Mary Lois Curry of Huntington, WV, one brother-in-law Bobby Steele of Huntington, two nephews Benji Steele, Del Curry and three neices Mary Beth Miller, Donna Brumfield and Connie Curry. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn White officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. Sunday February 7, 2010 at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ballard Smith, Lucky Jones, Donnie Baside, Timmy Elkins, Jeanuel Browning and Glenn Lanthorne. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dick Williams, Mike Ferrell, Bob Mayhorn, Bobby Steele, Tom Caldwell and Joe C. Ferrell.
