Wanda Lou Browning Evans, 64, of Verdunville went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2014.
Wanda was born July 2, 1949 at Dehue, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Beatrice Farmer Browning. Also preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Harold Lee Evans; brothers-in-law John Paul Perovich Jr. and Freddie Evans and her Father and Mother-in law, Everett "Shorty" and Alberta Evans.
Wanda was a dedicated employee of The National Bank of Logan, Bank One and eventually Avis, Witten and Wandling from where she retired on November 30, 2012.
Wanda Lou is survived by one son, John Scott Armstrong of Waverly, Ohio, Three step-children: Sharon (Jasper) Dingess, Paula Butcher and Harold (Sue) Evans Jr., Seven grandchildren: Grace, Margaret and William Armstrong; Ashley and Jody Christopher Butcher and Lisa and Eric Evans; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Brooklyn Bryant; one sister, Kay Perovich of Rum Creek and one brother Jerry (Ruth) Browning of McConnell.
Wanda also had a host of extended family including aunts, uncles, brothers and Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and Wanda's cherished church family at the Logan Church of the Nazarene. She also had two special friends, Kathy Chafin and Millie Adkins.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, July 3 at James Funeral Home with Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jasper Dingess, Jody Christopher Butcher, Harold (Bub) Evans Jr., John Allen Perovich, John Allen Perovich Jr. and Shane Browning.
Family and friends may call from 6-9 on Wednesday, July 2 at the funeral home.
