Vivian LaVonne Mayo

Vivian LaVonne Mayo, 83, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Whitman, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 in Columbus. She was born March 30, 1931. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William J. “Bill” Mayo; and two sisters: Avis Marcum and Marie Cupler. Those left to cherish her memory include children: Kathleen (Bing) Browning, Carolyn Mayo, and Mark (Denise) Mayo; grandchildren: Angela (Mark) Pelfrey, and Seth Mayo; great-grandchildren: Kortnee, Natalee, Kaylee, and Jeremiah Pelfrey; sister, Lillian Horn; and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was a member of the Reynoldsburg Freewill Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Visitation will take place between 11 and 1 p.m. at the West Logan Church of God in West Logan on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
