Violet Shell

Violet Ray Shell, 82, of Richfield, N.C. formerly of Pine St. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 6, 2006. Born June 13, 1924 in Greenville, S.C she was the daughter of Perry and Paralee Coggin. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Carl Shell in 1979. One daughter, Barbara Jean Shell of Columbus, Ohio. Survivors include a daughter, Carole (Don) Morton of Charlotte, N.C. Two sons; Jerry (Barbara) Shell of Logan and Rev. Randy (Carol) Shell of Crooked Creek. Thirteen grandchildren and Twenty-Two great-grandchildren. Violet will always be known for the love and affection that she had for everyone. Visitation will be Saturday December 9, 2006 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday December 9, 2006 at 2:00 P.M at James Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Condolences may be sent www.jamesfh.com.
