Vickie Blevins

Vickie Blevins, 63 of Henlawson, WV died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV. She was born May 24, 1957 to Isaac and Ella (Akers) Conley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Blevins, and her son, Jimmy Morris. Vickie enjoyed spending time with her family. She has a passion for crafts, and she ran her own ceramic shop, as well as her own sewing shop. Vickie also enjoyed baking. She played a huge part in her community, including bake sales, and many other fund raisers. Vickie had a heart of gold and anyone who met her could not resist her contagious smile and laughter. She will be missed by her family and friends. Vickie is survived by her son, Rodney (Angie) Morris of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Hayley (Josh) Thomas; grandchildren, Stephanie (Austin) Boyd, R.J. Morris, and Tyler Morris all of TN, and Rylee Thomas of Henlawson; great-grandchild, Ella Boyd of TN; brothers, Bobby Conley, and Ronnie (Wanda) Conley of Henlawson; sister, Joyce (Don) Kinney of Rocky Hill; she also leaves behind a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her sweet smile. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday, at the funeral home.
