Verona "Doll" Lambert

Verona "Doll" Lambert, 88 of Lyburn, WV departed this life Thursday, October 26th, 2023, at her residence.

She was born November 24th, 1934 to the late Richard Evans and Naomi (Stevens) Evans. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Evans; brothers, Louis, and Delbert, and aunt, Lola.

Doll as she was known loved to garden and travel.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Harvey of McConnell, and Connie Lord (Don) of South Carolina; son, Jack (Jean) Evans of Logan; grandchildren,  Matt Harvey (Tonya) of McConnell, Josh Harvey (Lisa) of Logan, Vickie Vance (Jamie) of Peach Creek, Shane Evans of Lyburn. Kelly Hauprich (Dan) of South Carolina, and Howard Burke of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Dylan Vance, Savannah Lynn Evans, Haley Harvey, Axel Hauprich, Chevy Hauprich, and Emma Sue Hauprich.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor John Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. The family will receive visitors from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
