Vennie Ersil Morris

Vennie Ersil Morris, 62 of Lake departed this life Tuesday May 16 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1955 in Logan to Corda Lambert Morris and the late Everett Morris. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by: his son, Brandon Vannatter. In addition to his mother those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Mandy Morris; his children, Kara (Paul) Boring, Justin Vannatter, Jackie Morris, and Vennie (Trish) Morris; his sister, Sandra (Steve) Bias; his brothers, David (Vanessa) Morris, Buford (Teresa) Morris, and James (Janine) Morris; his grandchildren, Tyler Vannatter, Bryson Boring, Destiny Sparks, and Amelis Morris. He is al survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday May 20 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Pastor Scotty Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
