Thomas Jefferson Marcum

Thomas Jefferson Marcum of Dingess, WV passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, OH.

He was born April 9, 1944, at Kirk, WV to the late Alfred and Roanna Meade. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Alberta Hannah, Rinda Slater, and Edna Messer; five brothers, Roger Meade, Grover Vance, George Hager, Ivan Vance, and Billy Gene Vance.

Thomas was a member of the House of Prayer at Dingess, WV. He loved his church family and he enjoyed sitting outside with his brother Virgil, watching squirrels play, talking on the phone with his friends, and riding his four wheeler in the hills.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Virgil (Estelle) Meade of Dingess, WV and Archie (Tabitha) Meade of Delbarton, WV.

Honoring his wishes his remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
