Theresa Louise Blankenship 49 of Ethel passed away Saturday April 4, 2009 at Logan Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 19, 1959 in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of Joanne and Kenneth Nelson of Verdunville and the late Gary Price. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Luther and Lizzie Damron and Ray and Mae Price. Also preceding her in death were her siblings Joan Leslie Price Collins, Michael Ricky Price and Pamela Sue Lambert. She was a cook at Morrisons Drive Inn. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Willard (Rocky) Blankenship, One Son Brandon (Tabitha) Blankenship, Two Stepsons Dustin (Carla) Blankenship and James T. Deskins, Three Grandchildren Katelyn and Austin Blankenship of Marmet and Jacob Blankenship of Beech Creek, Four Sisters Angel (Aaron) Burgess of Verdunville, Bobbie Turley of Cross Lanes, Rhonda (Barry) Stutesman of Prescott, Michigan and Libby (Gary) Nickens of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Three Brothers Gary (Violet) Price of Harts, Danny (Misty) Price of Holden and Luther Price of Maryland. Theresa will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 8, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday April 7, 2009 at James Funeral Home.
