Terry (Bo) Messer

Terry "Bo" Messer age 54 of Holden Passed away Tuesday October 3, 2006 at home. He was born March 24, 1952 at Holden. He was the son of the late James Hershel and Geneva Brooks Messer. Mr. Messer was a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 4 brothers: James A. "Scrap" Messer, James H. Junior Messer, Ronald Messer and William "Shubby" Messer, 1 sister: Naomi Meser and a special friend: Tony Gill. Survivors include Sons: Bo Travis Messer of Huntington and William "Billy" (Bridgett) Messer Meeks of Branchland, Daughters: Theresa Petticrew of Wayne and Becky (Scott) Beckett of Logan, Brothers: Danny "Tinky" Messer and Bruce Messer both of Holden, 4 Sisters: Pat Sheppard of Virginia, Glenna (David) Curry of Ohio, Joan "Annie" Parris of South Carolina, Phyllis (Garey) Wray of Ohio, Grandchildren: Zachary Petticrew, Corey Petticrew, Andrew Petticrew, Andrew Petticrew, Kelsie Petticrew all of Wayne, Several Nieces and Nephews a very special Sister-in-law: Janie Messer a very Special Friend Chris Workman and Brian Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday October 8, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvis Porter officiating. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M.
