Teresa Day

Teresa Rose Day, 91 of Logan, WV departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 7, 1934, to the late William and Cali (Cox) Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Henry Day Jr.; siblings, Ethel, Francis, Billie, and Dorothy.

Mrs. Day was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed their visits. Momma was a God-fearing Christian, yet stubborn to a fault. She lived her life and left this world on her terms.

She is survived by her children, Ralph III (Stephanie), Sabrina, Timothy, and Terry Day; grandchildren, Rochelle, Ralph IV, Deshaun, Terry II, and Jennifer, great-grandchild, Jelyse, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. James Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service, Monday at the funeral home.
