Tammy Adkins

Tammy Adkins, 55 of Crooked Creek passed away Wednesday August 12, 2015 at her residence. Born January 7, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Redith Akers Burgess. She was also preceded in death by her husband Randy “Jake” Adkins, three sisters Janet, Joyce and Mary and two brothers Shot Burgess and Paul Burgess Tammy was a member of the West Logan Church of God and was employed with Logan Regional Medical Center. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Brandy (Shane) Carroll of Crooked Creek, her brother Mike Burgess, her sister Kim Adkins Ritchie, her mother-in-law Rose Henson, four grandchildren Stephanie, Jalyn, Jacob and Braxton and her best friend Dorothy Stapleton and several nieces and nephews. Services will at 12:00 p.m. Saturday August 15, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Dingess and Rick Workman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill.
