Susan Vannatter Thomas

Susan Vannatter Thomas, born November 27, 1962 passed away January 4, 2020. Susan was 57 years old, she was born & raised in Logan, West Virginia. She was educated in Logan Public Schools and attended Logan High School. She also attended Southern West Virginia Community College for two years where she studied nursing. Sue worked various jobs throughout her young life to include hospitality, nursing, caretaker and most importantly a loving daughter and proud mother. Susan was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Granny and Mawmaw. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Susan was loved dearly, her tenacity, wit, charm, humor and undying love and caring for her family and others will never be forgotten. Susan is the loving & devoted mother of Gary Lee (Claire) McNeely Junior of Lynchburg, VA and Gregory Jordan McNeely of Logan, WV. Cherished Granny of Charlotte, Jackson and Bonnie McNeely of Lynchburg, VA. Adored Mawmaw of Konner, Cristofer, and Emma of Logan, WV. Loving daughter of the late Nora Jean Vannatter.
