Sherrie Lynn Lowe

Sherrie Lynn Lowe, 62 of Logan, WV departed this earth on October 23, 2026 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 29th, 1964 in Holden, WV the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Mary Jane McCloud Meade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Edward Pelfrey II; her sisters, Virginia McCloud Ellis and baby Gracie; brothers Leonard Meade, William (Punk) Meade; and nephews, Dwayne Ellis and Jason Ellis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Ashley (William) Barker; grandchildren Taylor and Carson Jackson and Chandlar Mills, Skyler Pelfrey and Riley Baisden; sisters Rachel (Mark) Jones, Patricia White; brothers Melvin (Danette) Meade, Johnny (Gail) Meade, Roger (Rhonda) Meade, Eric (London) Meade, David (Angie) Meade, Timmy Meade and Karen Meade; Nieces Paige Marcum, Alexis and Destiny Jones; great nieces and nephews Maddox, Josiah, Aliyah, Matthias, and Samara; and best friends Robert Perry, Eddie Horne, Trina Adams, Kim Browning, Dorothy Luh, Pearly Vance-Spry and Yvonne Haynes.

Visitation will not be held in honor of Sherri’s wishes. Instead, a gathering will be announced within the family.

James Funeral Home, Logan, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
