Shelia Lackey

Shelia Ann Workman Lackey 57 of Dingess passed away Thursday September 8, 2011 at home. She was born October 22, 1953 in Logan County the daughter of the late Elbert and Irene Justice Workman. She was also preceded in death by one sister Deloris "TI" Workman Norman and three brothers Lawrence Workman, Donald Workman and Jimmy Workman. She is survived by one daughter Jaime Gail (Jesse) Spaulding of Dingess, three sisters Mary Ramey of Kansas, Loretta (Larry) Sargent and Carolyn Spaulding both of Verdunville, two brothers Ed (Exie) Workman of Omar and "Sam" Allen (Sandy) Workman and twin granddaughters Jessica and Laura Spaulding whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday September 11, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Elbert Collins Jr. and Rev. Jimmy Darrel Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the Frye Cemetery at Verdunville. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Saturday September 10, 2011 at the church.
