Ruth Ann Blankenship

Ruth Ann Blankenship, 85 formerly of Logan, WV went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born June 10, 1938, in McDowell County, WV to the late Mable and Howard Hobbs. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Dingess, Jean Duncan, and Agnes Carruth.
She is survived by her brother, Carl Hobbs (Sharon); 5 children, Cheryl Rister, Barbara (Sue) Gore, Sandy Vance (Mike), Michael Blankenship (Janet), and Michelle Blethen; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Tim Secrist officiating.
In lieu flowers the family request donations be made in her name to Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd Dobson, NC 27017.
