Roy Cooper

Mr. Roy Cooper age 91 of Mt. Gay passed away Wednesday November 16, 2006 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1915 at Crawley. He was the son of the late Bard and Amelia Spence Cooper. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline McNammee Cooper, 1 Sister: Ware and 3 Brothers. Mr. Cooper was a WWII Army Veteran and he was also a State Road Mechanic. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sandra Sue "Bud" Meade of Columbus, Ohio, 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and Special Friend: Donna Conley. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday November 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home at Aracoma with Rev. Stacie Dingess offciating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens with Military Graveside rites conducted. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday November 17, 2006 at James Funeral Home.
