Rosa Pauline (Baker) Tomblin 83 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday October 3, 2010 at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis, Ind. She was born June 23, 1927 in Logan County to the late Samuel Paul and Rosa Etta (Jacobs) Baker. Pauline retired from RCA in Indianapolis after 22 years of service. She had been a member of No. 20 Whitman Community Church. She is survived by her son Richard P. and wife Barbara Tomblin of Indianapolis, Ind., brothers Eddie Baker and Homer and wife Dicie Baker both of Logan, sisters Hazel Helphinstine of Mooresville, Ind. and Joan Boyd of Pfafftown, N.C.grandchildren Darren Paul Tomblin of Indianapoolis, Ind. and Bridgette Graham of Artesia, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Dorothy "Dot" Meade and brothers James and Jack Baker. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday October 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the No. 20 Whitman Community Church with Rev. Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Wednesday October 6, 2010 at James Funeral Home.
