Ronald Lee Stover

Ronald Lee Stover, 50 of Lake, WV left this world to his heavenly home on March 15, 2020 at UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pa with his daughter Madison by his side. Ronnie was born July 3, 1969 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV. Ronnie was preceded in death by his late parents Charles Jr. & Juanita Stover of Lake. His Grandparents Charles “Buck” & Marie Stover of Lake, Jess & Lilly Bea Stollings of Mudfork, and one sister in-law Linda Armentrout Stover of Lake. Ronnie worked for Contura Energy with Hernshaw Mines at Rum Creek Where he loved his job and his fellow workers. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, his dog Lilly & spending time with family and friends. Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Madison Stover of Lake, his brothers Charles R.Stover III (Wendy Perry) of Chapmanville, Frankie (Lori) Stover of Lake, Christina Stover of Chapmanville. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & great nieces & two special friends Stacy Brown of Lake, Cristi Mick of Chapmanville all whom he loved dearly. A celebration of his life will be Thursday March 19, 2020 from 6pm-9pm at Akers-James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday March 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Milton officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pallbearers will be Prestyn Stover of Chapmanville, Jacob Stover of Lake, Dakota Stover of Lake, Jacob Bryant of Chapmanville, David Townsend of Chapmanville and Roger Wolford of Omar.
