Ronald Muschera

Ronald “Moose” Muschera, 69, of Stollings passed away on March 18, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 5, 1953, to the late Peggy Muschera of Man, WV and the late Jim Muschera of Logan, WV.

Ronnie loved his family and friends and enjoyed talking with them through facebook.  Those left to cherish his memory are his very special Nephew who he loved with all his heart, Shawn (Missy) Deer.  His best forever friend, Jerry Calandros and his caretaker Jennifer Spaulding, who took the best care of him.  She will never know how much we appreciate all she did for him.  His sisters, Patty (Dan) Ferguson, Ann (George) Deer, Teresa (Neil) Ashworth, and Tina Fisher. Nieces and nephews, Chris Ashworth, Shannon Orso, Jamie (Ernie) Green, Peggy (Scott) Backus, Sylvia (Jason) Stutler, Leigh Ann (Danny) McKinney.  Austin Deer, Addison Deer, Trent Orso, Alyson (Cody) Maynard, Alexis Backus, Landon and Emma McKinney, Peyton Stutler, Rowen, and Reed Maynard and a whole host of friends and family.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Akers James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers will be Shawn Deer, Austin Deer, Nick Orso, Trent Orso, Ernie Green, and Cody Maynard.  Honorary Pallbearers are George Deer, Dan Ferguson, Neil Ashworth, and Jerry Calandros.
