Ronald ("Ronnie") Lee Damron

Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Damron, 78 of Dingess, WV went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning August 20, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1937 in Dingess, WV a son of the late William "Bill" and Cleo Damron. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Reba Cadd Damron, his daughter Rhonda Damron Wallace, brothers Larry, Wade and Robert Damron. His maternal grandparents Wade Marcum and Mrytye Damron and his paternal grandparents Layfette and Cynthia Damron. Ronnie was a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by two daughters Susie (Charlie) Brown of Justice Addition, Angie (Smitty) Baisden of Chapmanville. Four grandchildren Josh York of Verdunville, Leigh Ann (Alton) Booth of Danville, Kristen Baisden and Candace Maynard of Chapmanville. Four sisters Patricia Grubb, Colleen Stewart, Debbie (Ira) Copley and Tonya (Dave) Perry. Five brothers Roger (Loretta) Damron, Gary (Susie) Damron, Billy Gene Damrom, George (Bonnie) Damron and Billy Gene (Drema) Damron Jr. Also Several beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Darrell Newsome and Mike Smith officiating. Burial will Follow in Damron Cemetery at Dingess. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel. James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have prayed for each of you that God will ease the pain in your hearts someway or somehow. Ronnie was always so good to me and I will never forget him. If you ever need me, I will be there for you. I love you all.

Ronnie fought a long courageous battle.Our sympathy goes out to all the family,which is like an extended family to us.The Damrons and Porters go way back.Out love to all the family.
