Roger Dale Meade

Roger Dale Meade, 65, of Breeden, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born October 6, 1948, he was the son of the late Alfred and Roanna Marcum Meade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Meade. Those left to cherish his memory include two sons: James (Melissa) Meade and Gregory Meade; one daughter, Susan (Jason) Evans; four brothers: Archie Meade, Virgil Meade, Thomas Marcum, and Grover Vance; three sisters: Garnett Hannah, Edna Messer, and Renda Payne; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Dingess House of Prayer with Rev. Bud Baisden officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. Burial will follow at the Hager Cemetery in Breeden.
