Rodney Ferrell

Rodney E. Ferrell, 71 of Mt. Gay departed this life Tuesday March 13th, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1946 to the late Robert and Bessie Ferrell. In addition to his parents he was also proceeded in death by: Four brothers, Everett, Tolbert “Bud”, Glen, Harold, and Three sisters Bonnie June, Cherrie and Judy. Rodney was a Veteran having served in the U.S Army. He was a truck driver, a salesman and moved up to a management position for Coca-Cola, later after moving away to Mississippi, he was a Mechanic. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Bonnie Marcum- Ferrell, one son Jerry (Rachel) Ferrell of Foster, WV one daughter Kandy Ferrell (Brian Furrow) of Holden, WV, one brother Ray Ferrell of MS. As well as a host of several nieces and nephews.4 Grandchildren: Kayla Ferrell of Holden,WV. Tyler Bryant of Holden,WV. Kaitlyn (Trey) Sigmon of Danville, WV and Jerod Ferrell of Foster, WV. 4 Great Grandchildren: Madyson, Sophia, Nevaeh Ferrell, and Brinlee Sigmon. His special companion his dog Fancy.
