Richard Collins

Richard Collins, 85 of Mt. Gay departed this life Thursday March 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1933 at Logan to the late Hubert and Polly Browning Collins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his wife of 55 years, Ramona Deer Collins; son, Richard Collins; brothers, Clifton, Don, and Clyde Collins; and sister, Zadir Roeher. Richard was a member of the Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the UMWA. He is survived by: his son, Chad Collins (April Hammonds); sister, Mae Bumgardner of Ohio; and a host of family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 6, 2018 at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
