Ranny (Cowboy) Blankenship Jr. 37 of Cyclone passed away Thursday March 24, 2011 at CAMC General in Charleston due to a short illness. He was born July 26, 1973 in Shelby, Ohio he was the son of Ranny and Susie Clevenger Blankenship Sr. if Crites. He was preceded in death by one son Dakota (Cody) Blankenship and three grandparents Dorothy and Mason Blankenship of WV and Robert Porter of Ohio. He was a mechanic and welder. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Teresa Lusk Blankenship of Cyclone, two daughters Heaven Blankenship of Dingess, Cortnie (Todd) Sanders of Cyclone and one son Bilton Blankenship Jr. of Cyclone he also had three grandsons that he enjoyed spending time with and loved dearly Hunter, Devon, and Braxton all of Cyclone, three sisters Rebecca (Craig) Whitt of Mallory, Mishialla Christian of Crites and Brandy Blankenship of Lorado, four nephews Gage, Darian, Kaden and Avery and one neice Addy all of Man, one grandmother Margaret Porter of Shiloh, Ohio, one special friend Douglas Cline who was like a brother and one special nephew who he liked to trade around with (Kaden). And a long list of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding any kind of ATV he especially enjoyed spending time with his dad. In his past time he liked to work on old Chevys. Ranny was also a good samaritan he will be missed and loved dearly. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Baptist Church of Bruno with Rev. Billy Joe Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning Cemetery at Bruno. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be Todd Sanders, Bilton Blankenship Jr., Matt Cline, Craig Whitt, Douglas Cline, Gage Whitt and Robert Christian. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kaden Christian, Avery Christian, Darian Hoosier, Hunter Sanders, Devon Sanders and Braxton Blankenship. Online condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
