Randy L. Adkins

Randy L. Adkins, 60 of Blair, WV departed this life Monday July 31 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born November 2, 1956 in Blair, WV to the late Willie and Eliza Mae Baldwin Adkins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his brother, Emmitt Ray Adkins; nephew, Kenny Adkins; and cousin Pat Adkins. Randy was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed painting, riding four wheelers, singing and listening to music, playing video games, ginsenging, and traveling. Randy was always joking and was known as “The Mayor of Blair.” Those left to cherish his memory include: his uncle, Casey Adkins Jr.; aunt, Loraine McNeely; cousin, Kerri Adkins; and special friends, David and Keshia Wooten. He is also survived by a host of other family, friends, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday August 3 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Rev. Bobby Adkins and David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park at Danville. Pallbearers will be: Robbie White, Clifford Clark, Jeff Browning, David Wooten, Brian Kinder, and J.J. Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Adkins Jr and Roger Adkins.
