Pauline Adkins 83 of Henlawson passed away Friday April 22, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1928 at Pond Creek, WV. She was the daughter of the late Tom Thomas and Cora Fannin Romans. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband Golden Cremeans, One son David Lee Cremeans, four brothers Nick Romans, Paul Romans, Raymond Romans, Greg Romans and one sister Annie Adkins. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a friend to everyone who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be sadly missed by all. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 36 years Robert Lee Adkins of Henlawson, her sons Glennis (Delcie) Cremeans of Alabama, Zandel (Angie) Cremeans of North Carolina, Her daughters Goldaline (Buddy) Casto, Anita (Billy Ray) Casto, Edith Taylor all of Harts, Darlene Curry of Henlawson and Pamela (Eric) Green of North Carolina. Her Step Children Roy (Linda) Adkins of California, Roger (Sharon) Adkins of Henlawson, Ellen (Danny) Sheppard and Robert (Bev) Adkins both of Delbarton, 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday April 25, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at James FUneral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Dingess Cemetery at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Sunday at James Funeral Home. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
