Paul Dean Mullins

Paul Dean Mullins, 81 of Dingess, WV went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his home surrounded by those he loved. Paul was born December 26, 1939 at Dingess, WV to the late Carlos and Delcie Mullins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Harleen Mullins; children, Brenda Mullins, Gregory Paul Mullins, and a child lost by miscarriage; and his father and mother-in-law, Woodrow and Roxie Marcum. He was a loving dad, papaw, and “papple” (great grandpa). Paul had served the Lord since 1977 and was a faithful member of Calvary FWB Church at Dingess, WV. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Bryant) Smith; grandchildren, Zachary Dingess, Kobe Smith, and Savannah Smith; great-grandson (and namesake), Jarren Paul Dingess; sister, Opal Meeks; sisters-in-law, Rosalie Baisden and Peggy (French) Burke; and a host of family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Memory Dingess for the loving care she gave him every day. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Dingess. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Zachary Dingess, Kobe Smith, Robert Vance, Marvin Tomblin, Randy Hanshaw, and Richman Vance.
