Patricia June Butcher May

Patricia June (Butcher) May, 78 of Holden, WV, formerly of Stirrat, went home to her Lord and Savior of Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at home. She was born January 3, 1943, at Chapmanville, WV to the late John Fletch and Hattie (Chambers) Butcher. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ronald Ester May; her beloved daughter, Kimberly Yvonne Greene; sisters, Maude Butcher, Marie Gore, Ella Jean Thomas, Mary Elizabeth Smith; brothers, John Fletch, Jr., Corman Edward, Frank, Eugene, Tracy, Charles, and an infant brother. June was a 1961 graduate of Chapmanville High School. She was a former beautician at Glamour Beauty Shop in Logan, WV. June loved her family, family gatherings, friends, reading her Bible, going to church, and especially her Lord. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and growing her flowers. June is now in heaven rejoicing with her family. She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis L. Bias of Chapmanville, WV, and Sarah F. Lawton of Durham, NC; her precious grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Jeremy (Breanna) Greene; and Jessica Greene (Gavyn Frye); her son-in-law, Todd Greene; brother-in-law, LeRoy (Eloise) May of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law, Helen (Edwin) Bias of Sarah Ann, WV, JoAnn Butcher of Chapmanville, WV, and Judith Curry of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and one special niece whom she loved like a daughter, Paula Jean Mikus. Honoring her wishes her remains are to be cremated.
