Orena Hager

Orena Hager, 76, of Whitman passed away November 12, 2006 at the home of her grandchildren in Statesville, NC. She was born August 21, 1930 in Logan to the late John Wesley Tomblin and Mandy (Curry) Mitchell. She was a homemaker and attended the Call To The Lost Gospel Tabernacle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen G. Hager. One sister, Lovada Edmonds and one brother, Arkie Tomblin. One sister-in-law, Nellie Tomblin. Survivors include one daughter, Anita (Larry) Burgess. Four grandchildren; Wendy (Jeremy) Burgess of Oceana, Gary (Kim) Burgess, Matthew (Melissa) Burgess, and Adam Burgess all of Statesville, NC. Five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday November 15, 2006 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday November 16 at 11:00 A.M at the James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mounts Cemetery at Mt. Gay. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com .
