Olen Artsell Browning

Olen Artsel Browning, 83 of Wilkinson, WV departed this life April 27, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born August 17, 1936 at Logan, WV to the late Evin and Ruby Browning. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Magalene Bryant of Point Pleasant, WV, Vivian Gibson, and Phyllis Jarrett of Logan, WV. Artsel worked more than 30 years for Mountain State Parking Company, while retiring from Central Hydraulics. The family would like to thank Dr. Kanuri and Dignity Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Triplett Browning; brother, Jerry (Carol) Browning of Dempsey Branch; sons, Olen (Sherrie) Browning Jr. of South Point, OH and Shawn (Laurel) Browning of Wilkinson, WV; four grandchildren, Cody, Lauren (Christian), Hailey, and Jensen; two great-granddaughters, Lanie and Ella. Artsel was loved and cherished by a multitude of extended family, including a special bond with his borhters-in-law, James (Linda) Triplett, as well as a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV with Rev. Curtis Gibson officiating.
