Nora Lea Miles

Nora Lea (Payne) Miles 61 of Harts, WV went to her heavenly home on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Nora was born August 13, 1961, to the late Gib and Dora Bell (Casto) Payne.  She was also preceded in death by her two brothers Lanville Payne and Hubert Payne, one sister Rosetta Adams.

Nora was the most loving and caring person. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, amazing mother to her children and an excellent mamaw to her grandbabies. Nora loved spending time with her family, loved cooking in her kitchen, and being outside in the garden with her flowers surrounded by nature. She is loved by all that knew her and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 32 years, Orville Miles; three sons Christopher Blackburn, Dallas (Kim) Blackburn III and Gilbert Blackburn; two sisters Fairy Runyon and Roebertie Isaacs, three brothers Lonnie Payne, Gilbert Payne and Robert Farley; Sister-in-law Pamela (Stacey) Jarrett; six grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Paislee and Parker Blackburn, Ashley and Dallas Blackburn IIII, Chloe and Alyssa Blackburn; one great grandchild Denzil Blackburn. She leaves behind an abundance of other loving family, nieces and nephews, and friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4th at 12:00, at Akers-James Funeral Home, with Billy Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow at Guyan Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, October 3rd from 6-9 p.m.
