Naomi McDonald, 84 of Crooked Creek departed this life Saturday August 19 at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1933 in West Logan to the late Earnest and Ruth Ray McDonald. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her sons, Michael & C.J.; granddaughter, Kalem Ellis; and two brothers, Ray & Harold McDonald.
Ms. McDonald was a homemaker and was a member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her grandson, John Carl; great-granddaughter, Destiny Ellis; three sisters, Mary Jane Burns, Jean Ann Boyd, and Betty Rose Taylor; brother, Glenn J. McDonald; special niece, Alfreda Burns; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday August 23 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday also at the funeral home.
