Mollie Tomblin

Mollie M. Tomblin 88 of Mt. Gay passed away Tuesday November 30, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 16, 1922 in Logan County a daughter of the late Hugh and Brookie Bryant. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold, 2 infant daughters Irene and Delores, 1 daughter Andlee Browning. She was also preceded in death by Georgia Hensley, Rosa Bryant, Maryann Tomblin and Cuba Bryant. Survivors include 1 son Leo Tomblin, 3 daughters Jewell Damron, Kathy Adkins and Connie Baisden and 1 sister Thelma Bills, and several uncles, aunts,nieces and nephews, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Verdunville Church of God with Rev. Michael Hartwell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. at the church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
