Minnie Queen, 83 of Dunlow, WV formerly of Logan passed away Saturday November 28, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born March 19, 1932 in Logan she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nannie Williamson Workman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four sisters: Georgia Workman, Nora Workman, Millie Workman, and Mae Tomblin. Five brothers: Floyd Workman Jr., Sid Workman, Jess Workman, Ray Workman, Rufus Perry.
Mrs. Queen was a homemaker.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband Thomas Queen, her son Buford Crockett Baisden, her sister Bess Lewis of Kissemmee, FL. Five step daughters: Cathy (Richard) Evans of Dunlow, WV, Marline (Jack) Fitch of Trenton, Michigan, Betty (Ronnie) Preston of Wayne, WV, Vera (Patrick) Lambert of Huntington, WV and Pamela Maynard (Buster Thomas) of Dunlow, WV. One fur baby Sally, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday December 1, 2015 at James Funeral Home in Logan with Bro. Jim Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Baisden Cemetery in Dingess. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
