Mike Gogus

Mike Gogus 83 of West Logan went to be with his Lord Wednesday April 23, 2008 at Boone Memorial Hospital. He was born August 22, 1924 at Leevale, WV. He was the son of the late Jim and Suzie Cantley Gogus. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a Daughter: Canissa Workman and Grandson: James Michael Gogus. He was employed with West Virginia Supermarket for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Mary Arehart Gogus, One Daughter: Amelia (Larry) Perry of Oak Hill, WV, One Son: Michael (Donna) Gogus of Fort Payne, Alabama, Sister: Georgie Workman of Dayton, Ohio, 6 Grandchildren: Stephanie Perry, Melissa (Tony) Browning, Michael Ray Gogus, Jerry Michael Workman (Ernestina), Jospeh R. Gogus, 7 Great Grandchildren: Larry A., Christopher Joshua, Preston, Nicklos, Casey and Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 26, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist Fred Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. Saturday April 26, 2008 at James Funeral Home. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
