Michael (Buck) Lawrence

Michael “Buck” Lawrence, 52, of Pigeon Roost passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born on March 3, 1962 in Man, WV and was the son of the late Daniel and Sylvia Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Edgar Lawrence, Freddie Lawrence, and Jackie Lawrence and 2 sisters: Bonnie Harden and Donna Marie Adkins. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Brenda Lawrence, 2 daughters: Ashley (Derrick) Collins and Shelly Lawrence, 1 son: Richard (Bethany) Jenkins, 4 brothers: Jesse (Calvenia) Lawrence, Jimmy (Debbie) Lawrence, Tommy (Debbie), and Billy Lawrence, 4 sisters: Audrey (Sonny) Harvey, Mary Jo (James) White, Priscilla Lawrence, and Mattie Gallo, 6 grandchildren, and host of other family and friends. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Logan, WV. Buck will be carried to rest by Timmy Lawrence, Brian Lawrence, Dave Mooney, Tommy Lawrence, Bill Patton, and Daniel Harless. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
