Merry Carol Blankenship

Merry Blankenship, 55 of Rossmore departed this life at her home due to a fall. She was born on December 25, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Solomon and Charlotte Adams of Crooked Creek. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Blankenship; grandparents, Dee and Vivian Hall and Elbert and Sarah Adams, two sisters, Melodee (Mike) Brewster, Lisa Adkins, and one brother, Gregory Robin Adams. Those left to cherish her memory include: one son, Matthew (Jennifer) Adams; one grandson Matthew Adams of Fort Bragg, NC; one sister Abby (Gary) Shahan; five brother, Randy (Rosemary) Adams, Terry (Debbie) Adams, Bryan (Cindy) Adams, all of Crooked Creek, Holly (Katrina) Adams and Jeff (Judy) Adams both of Whitman. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at James Funeral Home with Jason Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitman Family Cemetery at Crooked Creek.
