Maxine Johnson

Maxine Johnson age 87, of Essex CT formerly of Davin WV, who passed away Monday, September 4, 2006, was born May 19, 1919 to the late William and Pearl Sartin. She is survived by her loving family, Linda Johnson-Collins and husband George of Green Valley WV, Jerry Johnson of Man WV, Marlene Johnson LeClerc and husband Stephen of Essex CT, George Collins JR of Green Valley WV, Roberta Collins-Saucier of Hampton VA, Tonya Johnson, grandchildren, Alex J. LeClerc, Kaitlyn S. LeClerc, Jacob T. LeClerc all of Essex CT, Kristen Johnson, Jermey Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Tiffany Johnson, Kayla Mathews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Johnson; two brothers, Monroe Sartin and Dewey Sartin; her son, William Johnson; a grand-daughter, Shawn Collins Mathews and two twin great grandchildren Taylor and Sierra Saucier. Visitation will be Saturday September 9, 2006 from 11:00 A.M to 12:00 Noon at the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church at Man. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Benny Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
