Maudie Dillon McCloud Tomblin

Maudie Dillon McCloud Tomblin, 92 of Lenore passed away October 16, 2015. Born November 6, 1922 in Dingess, WV she lived most of her life on Mud Fork Mountain. She joined the circle of family in heaven her parents Walter and Rosa Dillon, her first husband Rev. Willard McCloud and her second husband Kiefer Tomblin. Sisters: Dorothy Deskins, Lorraine Dillon, Loretta Beckett, Juanita Parsly. Brothers: Paul Dillon, Herman Dillon and Calvin Dillon. Those left to cherish her memory include her brother Walter Digs Dillon, Sisters: Gracie Sturgill, Dicie Charles and Nora Marie (Nug) Conn whom she lived with for 15 years. A host of nieces and nephews 4 of which that were like her own children: Little Maudie Spry, Anita and Renee Evans and Wanda Hodge who was her total caregiver and 4 brave little boys who were her great nephews that lived with her their whole lives and two special nurses Sarah and Brandi. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday October 20, 2015 at Mt. Hope Church in Dingess, WV with Pastor Curtis Booth officiating. Visitation will be Monday October 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. for family and 4 to 8 p.m. for the public also at the church.
