Maudie Alice Crane

Maudie Alice Crane, 88, of Peach Creek went home to be with the Lord at Welch Emergency Hospital on Sunday November 26, 2006 following a short illness. She was born July 19, 1918 in Wise Co. VA., to the late Christopher Columbus Jennings and Georgie Noe Jennings of Wise Co. VA. She was a life long member of Central United Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer M. Crane Jr. Seven brothers; Mack, Fisher, and Mont. Porter, Charlie, Hubert, Earl, and Onnie Jennings. Four sisters; Drema and Sue Jennings, JoAnne Lusk and Ruth Stevenson. She is survived by four sisters; Rita Jennings and Linda Adams of Welch, WV., Betty Hutchins and her husband Lee of Flint, Michigan, Delilah Christine Brumfield and her husband Willard of Saulsville, WV. Two brothers; Christopher Jennings Jr. of Davy, WV, and Roger Jennings and his wife Audrey of Saulsville, WV. Also a special sister-in-law, Goldie Jennings of Vidor, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday November 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M at James Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn White Jr. Officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
