Masel Noisha Frye, 85, of Stollings climbed the stairs to Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan.
She was born November 9, 1932 at Fort Branch, WV to the late Reynolds Jordan and Susan May Harrison Johnson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Ora Lesley Frye Sr.; daughter, Susan Carol Keyser; and son, Ora Lesley Frye Jr.
Masel was a sales clerk and was a member of the Salvation Army.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her sons, Roy Fry, Clifton (Priscilla) Frye, and Paul (Jamie) Frye; brothers, Clifton (Vicki) Johnson, William Johnson, Reynolds (Gisela) Johnson Jr., Kenneth (Mary Lou) Johnson, Richard Johnson, Larry (Bonnie) Johnson, Roger (Debbie) Johnson; sister, Elizabeth (Eddie) Tackett; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a very dear friend, Katherine Sprouse, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family would to thank the staff of Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan, especially on the East Wing for their compassionate and loving care of Masel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday February 11, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Rev. Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6 â 9 p.m. Saturday February 10, 2018 also at the funeral home.
