Mary Ann Harvey

Mary Ann Harvey was born to Alice L. Kimble and Oscar. C Gaffney on Nov. 17, 1956, and died in her home, which she shared with fiancé’ Luther Bennett, on Nov. 8, 2023, in Wharton, WV among family and friends.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her late husband, Officer Jackie L Harvey’s, and niece Janet Harvey.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Officer Gary G. Gaffney of Florida, daughter, Georgeanna Stead of IL and six grandchildren, Christopher R. Stead of IL, Krystal G. Stead of IN, Matthew C. Stead of IL, Andrew B. Stead of IL, Jayson T. Stead of IL and Ryan L. Stead of IL. Mary Ann never knew a stranger because she treated everyone as a friend and friends were family. She loved God, her family, and her church, especially working in the children’s ministry. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

 A celebration of life will be held this Summer in West Virginia.
