Mary Elaine (Gleason) Booth, 79, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2026, reuniting with her beloved parents, Alvin and Geneva (Frye) Gleason, and other loved ones who had gone before her. She was born in Logan, West Virginia, on September 11, 1947.
A faithful believer in Christ, Mary shared her love generously with everyone she met, never knowing a stranger. She was also a devoted animal lover who enjoyed cruising the roads in her golf cart, feeding neighborhood animals along the way. Later, she upgraded to a side-by-side, always stocked with dog treats. Above all, Mary treasured her family and loved her grandbabies beyond measure. Her joyful spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Lynn Gleason; her daughter and son-in-law, Tennille Lynn and Joseph “Brook” Grimes; her grandson, Joey Alvin Mullins; her granddaughter, Skylar Rayne Mullins and her fiancé, Montgomery Scott; her great-granddaughters, Ryder Izzabella Mullins, Crimson Rhiannon Scott-Mullins, and Emersyn Brooke Scott-Mullins; her great-grandson, Dawson James Mullins; and her very special cousin, Cora “Corky” Porter.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Minister Ralph Perry officiating. Burial will follow the services.
