Martha Deloris Marcum

Martha Deloris Marcum, 42 of Big Creek, WV went home to be with God on July 10, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

She was born August 10, 1979, to the late Debra (McCoy) Epling and Charles Epling Jr.

Martha loved drawing and coloring. She enjoyed being outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Martha was a devoted mother, wonderful wife, beautiful sister, loving aunt and great aunt, and a dear friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Johnny “JJ” Marcum; sons, Lowell D. Hutchinson, and Bryan Hutchinson; stepson, Little Johnny Marcum; brother, Charles Lee Epling; sister, Loretta Adams; grandchildren, Lowell Grayson Hutchinson, and Titan Hutchinson; nieces, Debra McCoy, and Heaven Adams; great-niece, Paisley Hensley; special aunt, Deloris “Doe Doe” Sizemore, and a host of other family and friends.

Honoring her wishes her remains are to be cremated and laid to rest in the McCoy Cemetery, Big Creek, WV. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
