Maggie Clay

Maggie Belle Clay 78 of Aracoma departed this life Wednesday November 17, 2010 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1932 at Whitman she was the daughter of the late Cain and Pricie Brown Frye. in addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four brothers Claude Frye, Clifford Frye, Lawrence Frye and Carl Frye and a sister Rozella Copley. Maggie Clay worked at Penny's Drive Inn for 25 years then on to work at PRIDE from there she retired. Survivors include her daughter April (Wayne) Workman of Holden and her son David Clay of Aracoma, two sisters Glenna (Dorcus) Baisden of Cleveland, Ohio and Dottie (Chuddy) Bryant of Harts, four grandchildren Stephanie (James) Cooke of Mitchell Heights, Chris Workman of Holden and Leah and Josh Clay both of Logan, three great grandchildren Brenton and Kenadee Vance and Jaycee Cooke all of Mitchell Heights and the father of her children George Lyle Clay. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday November 20, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Fillinger officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at James Funeral Home.
