Louise Ellen Carlson

Louise Ellen Carlson, 90, of Peach Creek, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at her residence. Born December 8, 1924 in West Hamlin, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Esta Estep Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Carlson and two brothers: Jack and Leo Blankenship. Louise was an office supervisor at the Columbia Gas Logan office for 29 years and a 60 year member of the Eastern Star Logan Chapter No. 60. She was also a member of the Peach Creek United Methodist Church. Those left to cherish her memory one daughter, Linda (Walt) Armstrong Cannon of Peach Creek; one step-daughter, Judith (Mick) Hundley of Elko, Nevada; one grandson, Darren Glenn (Laura) White of Logan; one granddaughter, Tiffiany (Jeremy) Vance; two great-grandchildren: Bella and Breana; and a host of other dear family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at James Funeral Home in Logan with Rev. David Kinder officiating.
