Lottie Mayberry

Lottie Mayberry, 77, of Aracoma, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born August 29, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Curly and Arrie Anderson Talley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joe Mayberry; one brother, Arlie Talley, and one sister Bessie May Talley. Lottie was a member of the Cole Street Missionary Baptist Church in Aracoma where she was secretary of the choir. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons: Frankie Anderson of Man and David Mayberry of Aracoma; four daughters: Helen Clegg of Washington D.C., Mary Barbara of Georgia, Lydia Clegg and Cynthia Mayberry, both of Washington D.C.; two brothers: Eugene Talley and Clarence Talley; three sisters: Linda Talley, Brenda Talley, and Jimmy Talley; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of other dear family and friends. A celebration of life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Cole Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill. Friends may call at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
