Lisa Dawn Adkins

Lisa Dawn Adkins 45 of Crooked Creek passed away Tuesday May 4, 2010 at Logan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born November 16, 1964 at Logan. She was the daughter of the late Soloman and Charlotte Hall Adams. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Gregory Robin Adams and her grandparents: Dee and Vivian Hall and Elbert and Sarah Adams. Lisa was a custodian with the Logan County Board of Education and she was also a member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughters: Morgan Leigh Adkins and Aleson Faith Adkins both at home, son: Joshua of Berkely Springs, WV, brothers: Randall (Rosemary) Adams, Terry (Deborah) Adams, Bryan (Cindy) Adams all of Crooked Creek, Holly Adams of Jaspar, Georgia and Jeffrey (Judy) Adams of Logan, sisters: Melodee (Michael) Brewster of Holden, Merry (Jack) Blankenship of Rossmore and Abigail (Gary) of Crooked Creek, uncle Lonnie T. (Doris) Hall of Mitchell Heights and several neices and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ with Minister Tim Secrist officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitman Cemetery at Crooked Creek. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Thursday May 6, 2010 at James Funeral Home.
