Linnie Frye

Mrs. Linnie Frye 83 of Chapmanville went to be with the Lord on Friday October 15, 2010 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Bron March 2, 1927 in Lincoln County she was the daughter of the late Allen and Virgie Dingess. Also preceding her in death was one son Emery Jean Frye and one daughter Glenna Dean Lucas, three brothers Burl, Troy and Ray Dingess and one sister Burnice Perry. She was a retired nurses aid from Logan General Hospital. She leaves behind family and friends who were blessed by her life and will miss her dearly. Her family includes one son Clarence (Barbara) Frye of Phico, one sister Velvie Meade of Pheonix, Arizona, 6 grandchildren Melissa (Rob) Sammons, Michelle (Ryan) McClanahan, Melanie Lucas, Josh Lucas, Susan (Edmon) Benoit and Emery Lee Frye. She has 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She has one sister-in-law: Cora Dingess of Indiana and one daughter-in-law Susuie Frye of Texas and one son-in-law Dave lucas of Harts. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 17, 2010 at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gregory Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday October 17, 2010 at James Funeral Home.
